Finding your way around the site

Know your nav bar
The horizontal navigation bar ("nav bar" for short) is the easiest way to move around the site. Each heading or "tab" on the nav bar represents a section of the site. When you move your mouse over the tab, you will see a "drop-down" menu that shows the categories of information you can find within that section. Just click your mouse to go to any of these pages. You can click directly on the nav bar headings to go to the overview page for the corresponding section.

Going deeper
On every page of the site, you will see several visual "clues" that make it clear where you are within the site. First, look at the nav bar. You'll notice that the section of the page you're visiting is a lighter shade of orange than the rest of the bar. Next, look at the left hand side of the page. This list of links tells you where you are within the section—and what other information is available in this section. Notice that the page you're on is orange, and has a pointer next to its name.

Search and site map
You can always find what you're looking for—just use the search box that's located in the upper left hand side of every page on the site. This box performs a simple keyword search of the entire site. To perform a more advanced search, just click on the "GO" button, which will take you to www.psoriasis.org/search/. On that page, you will see a number of options, allowing you to refine your search by date and/or document type.
A new feature is the site map, a list of all the main pages on the site. This is a quick reference that can help you find a specific page and learn how the site is organized. There is a link to the site map at the bottom of every page.

You can go home again!
To return to the www.psoriasis.org home page from anywhere on the site, simply click on the National Psoriasis Foundation logo in the upper right corner of your screen.
