Families USA works to promote high quality and affordable health care for all Americans. This organization provides a wealth of resources for both the uninsured and those with insurance, including a guide to health plan consumer protections, state resources, and a consumer assistance program locator.
Georgetown Health Policy Institute makes available state-specific consumer guides on getting and keeping health insurance. Many of these guides offer additional financial aid and patient assistance resources and programs.
