The Partnership for Prescription Assistance offers a single point of access for people who qualify to more than 475 public and private patient assistance programs, including nearly 200 programs offered by pharmaceutical companies.

RxHope directly manages patient financial assistance programs for pharmaceutical companies of all sizes. You can search for medications by brand name and also find various assistance programs available to patients.

Rx Assist / Patient Assistance Program Center

Although this site is primarily for healthcare providers, it contains some information designed specifically for patients. Assistance programs can be searched by company, drug name and drug class. Access is also available to sign up for a prescription drug discount card. Xubex offers assistance to qualified individuals for generic and brand medications through its program. A licensed pharmacist in the United States fills all prescriptions with the same medications available from your local pharmacy. There is no cost to join and no monthly fee, but an administrative fee is applied per prescription. This drug discount program is available to people on Medicare Part D. A co-pay assistance program is available to those who have private insurance but limited prescription benefits.

Prescription Hope

Prescription Hope works directly with pharmaceutical companies to provide assistance for people who need help with monthly medication expenses. Over 1,500 brand name medications are available. Program participants pay an annual $20 enrollment fee and an $18 per prescription monthly service fee. This program is also available for people on Medicare Part D or those who have exhausted their HMO prescription benefits.
