Volunteer opportunities

"Everyone can be great because anyone can serve. You don't have to have a college degree to serve. You don't even have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve... You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love..."
—Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Whatever way you choose to participate, your involvement makes a vital difference as we strive together to change the odds. To volunteer, please contact volunteer@psoriasis.org or download the volunteer interest form in PDF format and return the completed form to:

Visit www.psoriasis.org/walk to see if a walk is coming to your city.
- Public awareness volunteer
Generate awareness in your community by participating in Psoriasis Awareness Month and media opportunities as they arise.
Research
- National Psoriasis Victor Henschel BioBank
Help advance psoriasis research by participating in the BioBank. Volunteers are needed to provide genetic samples and ongoing clinical information that will be used by researchers across the country.
- Survey panels
Share your personal experiences and opinions by participating in our survey panels. These panels are critical to documenting the burden of living with psoriasis/psoriatic arthritis. Results of the surveys are used to influence decision makers in Congress and insurance companies, and to educate the general public.
Advocacy
- Psoriasis advocate
Join the movement to call for increased federal funding for psoriasis research and improved access to care. Volunteers are needed across the country to send e-mails, write letters and meet with members of Congress in local communities. You can also join us during our annual Capitol Hill Day in Washington, D.C. Visit www.psoriasis.org/advocacy to learn about current opportunities.
Peer support*
- Affiliated support group leader
Help others in your community by starting or co-leading a psoriasis support group in your area. Support groups are critical in providing support, connection and information for those living with psoriasis/psoriatic arthritis.
