2013 National Volunteer Conference
The 2013 National Volunteer Conference was held July 27-28 in the Renaissance Downtown Chicago Hotel
The focus of this year's conference was Research Today, Cure Tomorrow and centered on the role the National Psoriasis Foundation plays in advancing research, as well as the importance of involving people with psoriasis and psoriatic diseases in research.
- A presentation from a panel of patient representatives and top psoriatic disease scientists about the future direction of psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis research.
- Tips for involving people with psoriatic diseases in research, including getting involved as Citizen Pscientists.
- Parent Roundtable offering an opportunity to ask questions of one of the country's leading pediatric dermatologists, as well as learn from other parents.
- Activities to help youth with psoriatic diseases develop the skills necessary to combat bullying and maximize their health.
