Calling all Texans for CHD

Are there any Texans out there that are going to Capitol Hill Day??? If you have not registered, I encourage you to do so.

Texas is a mighty big state and I don't plan on doing it again solo this year.

Last year NJ had like 50 gillion people representing them and all the big state of TX go was me. Therefore, get off of your duff and come make a difference!!!

Matt - I'm from Houston also. Have you been to our monthly meetings? If so, are you the derm student? If not, you need to come! We meet every month - this month there are two meetings. Let me know if you are interested in coming and I can give you our website.

Also, I'm sure you are swamped but if you are going to go to CHD, let me know because we will most likely be meeting with some of the same people. Rachel (another Houstonian) is also going.

We need as many Texans as possible at Capitol Hill Day because Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison from Texas is on the Appropriations subcommittee that funds the National Institutes of Health. She is one of the people we need to meet with, and it won't happen if nobody from Texas signs up.

Rep. Kay Granger (Ft. Worth) sits on the same Appropriations subcommittee, but over on the House side.

So....bonus if you're from Texas. And double bonus points if you're from Rep. Granger's district.
