Could this finally be our cure?

Capitol Hill Day is rapidly approaching. Here is something simple we can all do to help have a greater impact and lead us closer to a cure.

Who do you know?

• Does your kid ride to school on a bus with a legislator’s kid?
• Does your Uncle play poker with a legislator?
• Is your sister in law’s friend’s brother a legislator?
• Did you meet a legislator at a local meeting?
• Is your nephew doing an internship for a Legislator?

I think you can get the point. So many people either know a Legislator or know a family member or friend who does. We need to take advantage of that. We need to activate our contacts and resources to make sure we make the most out of CHD.

Please let Joey at the NPF know if you have a contact in DC.

And if you haven’t signed up for CHD, please don’t wait any longer.

I dont personaly know one or knows someone that does.

However I did get to meet my house rep at a town meeting at the local High school. And I will suggest to all, find out who your rep is and check is web site from time to time. they are up for re-election every 2 years and many times have local town meets where they will field questions and allow you to speak to them or at the very least some of there staff members at lenth. I was able to do this a while back and while a little intimadating at frist I felt great afterwards. If could pull it off anyone can.

It sure does count! Now we need to find a way to open a the door and get some information flowing. Would your Aunt be willing to make a call or two on our behalf?

i wish i could do some thing. i sent to all the people in power around me the letter that bella put on the other thread. i can't go to dc. i just wish that people who could do more could do it. i do the best i can here. great thread my friend. please don,t no one get mad at me. i try.
