First let me thank all of you who have made the effort in collecting signatures on our petition drive. We are now at the final phase of this drive. It is now important that all of you who haven’t returned the petitions yet to please return them to any of the coordinator as soon as possible.

We want to tabulate all of the signatures as soon as possible and maybe we can have an impact at Capital Hill Day. For me this was a wonderful experience in working with many great people to execute this drive and make it a success. A lot of hard work went into it but it shows we can be a force within the psoriatic community.

Thank you all for your hard work. The last piece of the puzzle is to return the sign petitions. No amount is too small. Every signature counts. Please return them to:

Thanks To All !

Mitch, I agree the experience was amazing. It was truly a liberating experience to explain to folks what psoriasis was and that it was something that was not contagious.

Thanks Mitch for all the work you did to make this happen and to all you worked on this important campaign for the benefit of more research for both p and pa. Every little bit helps and the more we have for CHD, the more of an impact we can have.

Thanks again,
Sandy :)

As the old proverb says, "Better late than never but better still never late".

Please if you haven't sent them or if you have more names please orward them.

To all who posted kind words I do thank you but this was a team effort and there is no "I" in team. From the humble begining at a breakfast meeting in Chicago one Sunday morining when five of us decided we need to do something. To where we are now there have been hundred of phone calls and countless numbers of PM and Emails.

I want to thank everyone who was involved in alphabetic order.

Mitch, thank you for letting me take part in the petition drive. It was a wonderful experience. I am proud of everyone who has participated in this, no matter how many signatures obtained.

I look forward to exploring the many other ways we can participate in political action, including continuing to gather signatures. See you in Washington, DC!

Bumping it to the top.

Many, many people have worked so hard to make this happen. To those who still have some petition they are waiting for please forwaqrd the ones you have and send the rest later.

You have all worked hard. from The Bible, book of Ecclesiastes,
A time to build up, a time to break down
A time to dance, a time to mourn
A time to cast away stones,
A time to gather stones together.

It is now time for us to dance and sing for we have earned that right!

Say, Mitch...

Do you have a ballpark figure in regard to the number of signatures you've received so far....??

...Hope it's over the 20,000 mark...

Again, great job everyone!

Blessings,
Joe

Joe I have no idea what the number is but I am sure it is way below the 20,000 number. In any event it way be a substainial number and hopefully after the weekend I will have a better feel what it will be.

Weather ther number is 2,000, 5,000, 10,000 or more is was a huge sucesss. Many people got involved in the process and help make it a success. We will forward the petitions and a print out of where they are by political distric to the NPF and will post the results without posting names to the board in the next week or so.

Understand all the deadline have come and passed but it is not to late to return them to us.

Mitch and everyone,

It is a little disappointing that the number could be "way below" 20,000. I wish I could've gotten more signatures than I did now. A lot of my help was tied up with the funerals from the shootings a few weeks ago and all the aftermath of that. Hopefully if this doesn't bring the results we want, we can try this again another time. I'm sure it will make an impact though anyway, glad to have contributed at least a bit!

Mitch and everyone,

It is a little disappointing that the number could be "way below" 20,000.

It's a lot disappointing. So many people here never even requested a petition. Even if they did not want to help collect signatures, they could have at least signed it themselves. :(

Since we will not make the 20,000 there is no reason that the petition drive can't be continued. There are many resons this can still be a very productive excersice and help us get results we need.

If anyone want another petition or is will to take one please PM me or anyone else listed before. It not to late.

Mari, although the number may seem low, and it is disapointing we have started something and we will see it through.

Please help freinds and foes alike. We need everyone.

Mitch
