Hello everyone,

To start prepping those of you who want to advocacte for P/PA, the Congress will be coming home August 1 through September 5. That means that if you make an appointment right now, it might be possible to speak face-to-face with your representative.

This will be easier for some than others due to district characteristics. In actively engaged districts, it will be harder to see the rep directly. Even so, it will still be a good opportunity to go and meet the staff.

This is a good time to speak to them about the Arthritis Prevent, Control, and Cure Act 2005, to request more funding be appropriated for psoriasis, and to request their sponsorship of August as Psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis Awareness month.

There are 113 House sponsors of the Arthritis Act and 27 Senate sponsors. That's great but we need more of them! It's never too late or too early to start speaking about the issues that concern you!

Thanks to all of you who act on behalf of so many!
