Hi everyone,
I had a fasting glucose test the other day which required me to give 6 vials of blood over a 5 hour period. Yes, it was a lot of fun. I also had not taken any enbrel that week since I was a bit under the weather with an infection. However, I think that having all that blood taken flared my PA in my hands and knees. I am back on the enbrel and feel much better. I was just curious if anything like this has happened to anyone or if they have heard of this as a trigger. Thanks.
Christine

How did the flare feel? Just worse pain/stiffness? I just posted a thread about flares, because I haven't felt this bad in a long time, not only pain and stiff/soreness, but that flu-like, heavy, sick fatigue. Don't know how else to describe it. If stress is a trigger, then that's a possibility. I think dietary changes, particularly something as extreme as fasting, could make one very ill. Are you better?
Is that your photo?? It's beautiful.
thanks,
Patti
