My muscles and joints are flairing up. It's getting hard to move my arms/shoulders around. It's a burning & aching pain. I have two shows this Sat, and have to be able to be fully moveable. (I get slammed down into railroad tracks in the shows) Anybody have any quick solutions that might call down my muscles/joints? Advil, motrin, aleve, asprin, tylenol don't help. I don't have time to get a stand in. What do you guys suggest? Thx for all your help and support. Sincerly, a.

A,
I suggest that you call your rheumatologist to let him/her know what is going on. You might also try rotating ice and heat or try a warm soak in the bathtub ( until you can consult with your doctor )...trying to treat PA without the guidance of a competent doctor can lead to possible joint damage.

Thx. I just don't know what to do. It started this am, but started getting worse as the day went on. I play the heroin (good, clean cute, do nothing wrong virgin) in the shows. I get pushed around alot by the evil vilian, and I always let him know when to be careful when doing our scene together, but I am still worried, because he gets rough sometimes, and forgets I can't be slammed into the ground all the time. Thx for your advise & support. a.

 You need a body double  No wonder your sore.
You could try massage therapy if your doctor ok's it. :) I find it helpful.
You may want to try the front of this site;

I was going to say " break a leg " but somehow it seems inappropriate if your cast memeber is slamming you to the ground!
Feel better,

Trust me. Last season, the hero broke my finger after he stepped onit by accident. He knew I was laying on the ground, but was having too much fun beating on the vilian. .......p.s.-I had them buying me drinks all night after the show. lol.

I LIKE TWINLABS GLUCOSAMINE, CHONDROITAN, MSM AND ASTAXANTHIN.
worked for me....wouldn't be without it! you can get it at The Vitamin Shoppe however I did find it much cheaper through FROOGLE! but if you don't have time the vitamin shoppe is quicker!

For the evil vilian, that is!
Anyway, I agree with the previous posts on calling a Physician for this. Permanent joint damage is nothing to mess with.

but I had good success with a high and regulated dose of motrin for a few weeks. Check with your doctor to see what your max dose is or what he/she would suggest. It worked for me. If I recall correctly I was way over what the bottle said and it was OTC. Trick is you need the docs orders. Down side is it might take more time than you have to accomplish this by the weekend. If you're already tried a high dose of vitamin M then disregard my post.

When I was severe I once told my DO that I need a pill to pick me up like an upper or something. He told me I needed to buy that stuff on the street.
I know a few people that are on what Sally advised,,,they are feeling so much better,,,maybe you should try it........ We started giving this to our dog ,,,I do know it takes awhile for it to start working,,,I wish we started sooner.... Good Luck

I got bone/joint/muscle weakness from using dovonex, the things which helped me recover are things like Sanatogen High protein powder, Shark cartilage capsules, olive/cod liver oil, Metatone tonic and a calcium/malic acid powder.
There are a few other things too, but thats the base of it.
Keeping good blood flow is also important for recovery, hot water bottles are good for this, obviously apply to the affected area.
Hope this helps,
All the best, FrankLee

Franklee,
I am opposed to using shark cartilage personally, because of the terrible decimation of the ocean's shark population.
I'm sure if you've studied up on that or seen any of the videos, you'd understand my perspective.
But a good substitute for shark cartilage is rhodoplex, a red algae. It has as much naturally occuring chondroitin sulphate as shark cartilage, and no animals get killed and definned in the process.
I'd rather have P over my whole body than be part of the extinction of a species.
Bovine cartilage is also a comparable source, too.
