Other than p, I've been sick with some weird inner-ear virus that has made me dizzy for almost two years now (it's really fun! ;)

I really want to start the Amer Saffron tea in addition to the SE and the rest of the regime that I do for the p, but I'm worried about the possible contradictory goals of taking things to boost my immune system and taking something to surpress it (AE tea). I'm going to talk to my naturopath about it this week, but I thought I'd ask here if anybody has looked into this.

Basically, I'm worried about taking something that might in effect make it harder for me to try to get rid of this virus in my inner ear (btw, i have been tested for everything, calling it a virus finally by process of elimination).

And how can we be so sick if p means we have an overactive immune system? (same with all autoimmune problems) Is it more than we just have an out of whack immune system? And that part of it that are supposed to be strong are weak and vice versa?

thanks,

soleil

Do this internet research -

inner ear & candida

Then

candida psoriasis

Then you will understand why you can take the P herbs.

Plus, I recently found an article that says that you can take the immune boosters, echinecea and burdock anyway. Especially if you aren't flaring.

Plus many of the herbs we take are immune supporters, and should not bring on additional problems with P, nor aggravate other conditions.

By augmenting and strengthening your immune system, you'll see other problems disappear. I've had several odd little conditions evaporate while working on P.

plus you might want to consider an allergy blood test to rule out any triggers.......

soleil,,, the same thing has been happening to me for a quite a long time,,and never went for any tests,,,this happened after I went on a plane to Texas... every now and than it still bothers me,,,if a stand on something un-level,, or get up to fast from laying down,,,so I avoid those things,,,I don't think any of those things would interact with your ear problem.

There are so many things can cause this dizziness,,,from wax build-up to anything... Do your ears also ring alot?????

Thanks for all your replies makes me feel better about taking the American Saffron tea.

That auto-immune inner ear disease is an interesting concept. It's funny how so many diseases do seem to point to the same underlying problems of overly-toxic livers, unhealthy colons, and candida overgrowth. Maybe it's just autoimmune problems...

I am going to get the blood allergy test. My naturopath seems to think that they are erratic, but my elimination diets haven't really come up with clear results so... can't hurt anyways.

As far as the dizziness, it's not vertigo, it's a constant (and I mean always) feeling of imbalance...swaying or like being on a boat. It does suck and it gets depressing to think I've felt this way for almost two years now.

Arl, yes my ears do ring, more it seems now than before, but I dunno, maybe I'm just more focused on my ears. Is your dizziness 'dizzy' as in spinning? Or is it like mine, swaying/imbalance?
