Hi Sally Abby referred me to you to get the low down on alternative medicine for psoriaisis (plague & erythroderma). I am taking a multi, probiotics, enzymes, glutamine, omega 3-6-9. I was going to get slippery elm but it came in a tincture. Is that ok--how much should I do? I'm in the process of getting American Saffron. Thanks. Abby says HI!!

Hi Claire good for Abby telling you about our site here on the NPF...first off the tincture does not work from what I have read on other people reports....I believe it is the powder form mixed with a liquid...(water or juice) that forms a healing coating on the digestive tract....and the saffron...cleans out the stuff (things leftover) in the tract so it is multi-purpose the two working together to get the system back on track......
you can get both products at
baar.com
did you read the thread on how I got clear? here it is...there are lots of good tips in there from different people on this regimen

are you under a doctors care ??? especially with the erthrodermic condition?
Right off the bat I would suggest a bath in baking soda for itching and some olive oil thrown in for soothing the skin....I like the aloe leaf straight from the plant...I posted this somewhere on how I remove the gel but I'll do it again since it is easy this way...
cut several large leaves off the aloe plant (the more you cut the more it will add new leaves)
trim the two sides with a sharp knife or scissors....slice the inner lining off the leaf.
Now you have the gel exposed ...place the leaf on wazed paper and scrape the gell onto the paper....slide the mix into a wide mouth jar and mix with a mixer ( i use a stick mixer by Braun) when you whip it up like this it makes for easier application...not so snotty :p ...I don't know about any allergies you might have...but I found that by getting tested I eliminated all itching! this is a blood allergy test not the scratch test....my doc suggested it and it really helped I'll post the lab that did it and maybe they can direct you to a doc that gives the test...mine is a DO (doctor of osteopathy)
If I can answer anymore questions feel free to ask away! there is lots of info on the alternative site....read and learn! :D
tell Abby not to be a stranger...to visit us between trips....... :p
