Hello - i've had p for as long as i can remeber. I am new to this site and first off would like to say hello. My p has mainly been on my scalp with the occational flare ups else where. I am being treated by a derm. I have an appt this friday. I know there's no cure. I just want to limit flare ups and pain, flaking --- i have dark hair. I've dried head and shoulders (leaves hair icky) T-gel etc. , I've used dovenex and some oily stuff too. At the present time i'm getting injections of steriroids....not sure about them though THey helped in the past but presently are not - are their risks...or does anyone know anything about the injections.
Side note--- this may sound unbelieveable BUT --- i've had 2 pregancies in 2 years and during that time --- NO REAL BAD Symptoms. I mean it was nearly GONE.....has anyone had that happen to them ---
so glad there's a forum for this situation - i feel so alone at this time.
