Western Canadian!!

Yes. I'm sure there are more western Canadians, but I'm from Edmonton, and "kimberlyjoy" is also an Edmontonian. I don't know where you are now or where you moved from, but welcome.

Hello and welcome! I am fairly new to the boards, just since August and so far it has been amazing. I have gotten so much support and the knowledge from these boards is amazing!

I live in BC, north of Vancouver.

I don't know if there's an Alberta group. I know there are many people that have it here. My derm held an info session for a trial drug for p. last year, and the room was jam packed. Maybe ask your derm. I'll do the same, but I don't see him until either December or January.

Originally from Vancouver, living in Long Beach, CA now... Trust me, the sun is not always shining EVERY day like most think! The sun is good in the summer and not always as good in the winter, it does get cold(er) here than most people think! :)

I am very fortunate to have a great derm here (Paul Yamauchi in Santa Monica), he is very supportive and spends as much time with you as you need. Unfortuantely I need to see him again because of my Enbrel woes but I know I will get great info the next time I see him! I have also realized that it's very important to take advantage of the sun (safely) whenver possible. Sometimes we take it for granted here in sunny California!
