I'm just wondering if anyone has had that "one time shot" for quitting smoking?
The only thing I'm worried about it, is what will it do to my P's... flare up like crazy or maybe nothing....
Anyone?
"If you have tried patches, nicotine gum, Zyban, Hypnosis, laser treatments, etc. and you are still smoking....
You are not alone.
There is a One Time Medical Treatment that can eliminate your urges and cravings for nicotine.
We can stop the withdrawal immediately and eliminate the torment of quitting smoking. "
Thanks,
Steve

Very interesting. I never heard of that before. Wonder how expensive it is. Although would be worth it.

I believe it's $500 for unlimited shots. Apparently some people need "booster" shots and others manage to kick the habit from just one shot.
$500. would be nothing compaired to what you pay for cig.

The article says that the drug being injected is an anticholinergic medication and the definition of this particular class of medication can be found here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anticholinergic).
The clinic that does it dubbed the program 'quit 1-2-3' and they have a web page at http://www.quit123.com/.
It looks as if it's only done down here in South Florida (Boca Raton) so it's not to readily available for poeple across the nation.

The side affects,,,,can't drive after treatment! Bummer!
Knowing me,,,I would get all of them.
Also,,,,,what about the FDA,,,has this been approved. You all know IT MUST be approved for this to be reliable  and oh my gosh,,,,,what doctor is associated with this? This sounds about a reliable as any treatment we see for p.

Hi,
This program looks very interesting to me, but I live in New York and couldn't easily get to Florida. I really want to quit smoking before my Granddaughter is born. I have tried all the methods in rhe past (Smoke Enders, Nicotene Patches and Longezers, American Heart and American Lung Associations, Self hypnois, etc) and still am smoking
I wonder if they are branching out their clinics to other places in the US and might be closer for me to get to,
Considering the cost of the treatment, look how much we pay for cigerettes! It just keeps going up. Then there is the health cost for smokers, let alone insurance rates too.
I will probably write to them for more information. Goodness knows I keep trying. Alot have said they only way is cold turkey, but now I hear that's dangerous too.
