my journey has begun...

hey guys..

so... yesterday afternoon my journey with methotrexate injections began. We went to the rheumatologists office, where someone taught me, and my mom all about how to give me injections (either of us can do it.)... She said that most people start to see results within 2 weeks or so... So now i am officially done with oral methotrexate. For those of you who didnt read about this a while ago, we are trying out injections because they think that this will target both areas (p and pa) more effectively, as the oral mtx wasnt helping with the pa that much.

Lets hope that this does its job:)

Hi KJ,

I wish you the best of luck with the injections. For what it's worth, I found the injections much more beneficial for the pa than oral mtx. The doc is right in that you should know fairly quickly.
