Ugh! I reside in MIA I just came back from a long weekend in GA. Of course I got my flare up now. UGH! And I didnt want to get out of bed this morning.
My back feels sore. Sometimes I wonder when I wake up with litte aches and pains if its effects from Enbrel, or if its just a case of me not stretching good.

I used to wake up in the morning with stiff and achey ankles and at one point it was getting pretty bad. I went on enbrel for about 5 months and the aches and pains cleared up after the second shot. Since then my ankles have not started hurting again, but I do get achey knuckles and elbows.
It's interesting how the side effects of most of the biologics can be symptoms of arthritis, yet that is what they are used to treat. Most people find relief, but there are a some that arthritis gets worse or even initially starts with the use of biologics.
I reside in sunny Miami and a few weeks ago visited my brother-in-law in NJ. I can tell you that my joints (and skin) were much more achey and itchy in the cold than they ever are in my tropical climate.
