My knuckles/ fingers/ toes turn blue from the PA sometimes. My doctor says this is normal does any of you have this problem? Its normally when Im in a flare.

Hi,
My fingers and toes sometimes turn blue, but usually it's during cold weather, or if I get my finger, toes, ears, etc too cold. I have Raynaud's diease and that is one of the symtoms for it. Could that be causing it?

Hi,
When I'm flaring my knuckels or what ever part of me is flaring has a purplish/redish hue to it along with swelling.

OK:) thats whats happening to me...I just wanted to make sure its normal. Im in a flare now and the knuckles have a purpleish hue to them.

Yep, Raynauds, here, in fingertips & toes. Typically, the "tell-tale" color change pattern with Raynauds is white-to-blue-to-red. (At present, mine has been aggravated by my knee injury & subsequent surgery!!)
