Alright friends here's my first update, as promised, since my first set of injections since beginning the study of CNTO 1275...
I think I can finally say, and completely believe, that I -did- indeed get the drug. :D
1.Since my first injections my p has changed from flaring red and extremely thick and flakey to light pink and thinning with minimal flaking.
2.I've also noticed a HUGE change in itchiness. Nights used to be my worst time, now itchiness is limited to only certain areas at a time and nothing compared to what it used to be.
3. I can also stretch out and not worry about cracking my skin and hurting myself, and all of my old cracks have healed and not re-opened. My poor bellybutton was beginning to be consumed with p and painful cracks but now has improved so much! No more pain there.
4. In my smaller spots I can actually see normal skin actually starting to come through!
I'm so happy with the results I'm already seeing and at this rate I'm only gonna keep getting better, this is only the start! It's still hard for me to say, "yes, I got the drug", but there's no denying it anymore. I've never seen my skin like this since I was diagnosed with this horrible disease. Well until the next JayHod udate this is Janelle saying, peace.

Wow, Janner! That's wondeful news.
I'm so happy for you.
It must be such a good feeling to see something that is finally working. I hope and pray that this is the first of many, many excellent progress reports!

Wow, I am so happy for you! And happy for us all when something new seems to work. I know the feeling well. That is how I felt when I started the biologics. Of course, I knew I was getting the drug because it wasn't through a trial, still I was afraid to say it's definitely working. But, there is that point when it is just undeniable! Congratulations. I hope you completely clear up and never have it again.
I look at the biologics as a pit stop to the cure and I don't like running out of options, so I'm always thrilled when something new is around the bend.

Wow!!! so glad to hear youre experiencing such fast results... I definately hope things only get better from here for you Janelle!
PM me sometime:)

WOW!
If I read correctly from your other posts, you just started the drug on the 14th.....seems this is working quickly. :)
The change in itchiness really compares to my enbrel experience. After my first shot, my skin stopped yelling at me!
How often do you go in for the shots? Or do you self inject? (Sorry if this was all covered in previous posts).
Also, are you noticing any side effects? A lot of people on enbrel complain about a headache right after injection. Also, site injection reactions are common. Any Problems?
I am so happy for you.....your post took me back to my memories of clearing on enbrel and the excitement I felt. Instead of getting out of the shower and cringing in the mirror, I was staring in the mirror at disbelief that something was finally working! Everyday things just got better and better.
I look forward to the next Jayhod update ( start doing it on a daily basis)....and oh yea, peace.

Congratulations! It's so great to hear that there is yet another choice for us. :) With every new drug to enter the market, it's one more option for those who have yet to find something that works for them. I don't know about you, but I'm really excited to participate in these trials knowing that we're helping to get hope closer for everyone who is suffering. Wishing you continued success. :)

I am very happy for you. I know you were under distress and anxiety not only with psoriasis but with this study as well! I hope that you will have a long positive result which seems is well underway.
All the best to you

Congratulations, Janner!
How wonderful for you, I know that amazing feeling, getting some significant clearing from Enbrel in 2004 myself.
I wish you continued good results....
