I have heard about how good crocs are for feet with P.
I found a place that sells them today, but all the ones they had, had little nibs on the sole.
To me,it felt like haveing a hundred nails driven in your foot with every step.
He said all the crocs he sold have the nibs.
Am I missing something here, I did have on thick socks.

Hmmmm....I have never heard of crocs! Sorry I can't help on this subject. But from what you say they don't sound comfortable at all.

They seem to be popular here in the south, but I've tried them after hearing so many people swear by their comfyness.
I can't stand them either, and I don't have P on my feet.

Rich,
Yes, they have them at Dick's sporting goods and also at the mall. They also have the knock offs at Wal-mart and Payless. Yes, they did have a lot of pink ones.

Oh my gosh.... I am an advocate of Crocs.... I love them and wear them all the time. They have been a life saver for me. I could wear them when my toes were way too sore to wear any other shoe. Sorry they are not good for you. I wear them with or without socks....but prefer them with socks in really hot weather.

The little "nibs", as you called them, will wear off with time. Crocs have been a lifesaver for me because I have pa in toes on both of my feet. I would highly recommend them!

I LOVE my crocs...all my toes have P under the nail beds and most shoes
put to much pressure on my toes. Crocs are made so your foot "floats" and
there is no pressure on the toes. BUT I do not have any P on the bottom of
my feet...take a look at the crocs website they have many different styles that you may not find in the stores

Dennis, you're not alone! I looked at a pair.......... well, I'm not sure if they were REAL crocs, but they had those little nibs, and I thought they were terribly uncomfortable! Like walking on a bed of spikes! Give me my Birkenstocks any day :)

I saw the real Crocs in Nordstrom, and was considering them (didn't notice the little nubbies), and then while wandering through the mall came across these knock offs: http://www.payless.com/Catalog/ProductDetail.aspx?&TLC=Womens&SLC=WomensCasuals&BLC=WomensCasualsComfort&Width=Regular&ItemCode=52959&LotNumber=046174&Type=Adult&Popularity=1525&DescriptiveColor=Blue/Pink/Yellow.  I absolutely had to have a pair...mostly because my teenage daughter was dying of embarrassment...hehe, but they're also very comfortable. I don't have p on my feet, so I can't tell anyone how they would feel with that, but I just love them, and get so many comments and compliments on them that they can't help but brighten up the day and attitudes. :)

Dennis, I am in complete agreement with you. I ran out and got a pair based on everyone saying they were so good for pppp but the bumpy bottoms hurt my feet so I can't wear them for long, even with thick socks. My feet are just so sensitive I can't wear any shoes that don't cause me pain. Bah!

Wow. It took about 4 or 5 posts before I realized that you weren't talking about buying little crocodiles to nibble on your feet..... I was trying to figure out how in the world that would do any good...

I have croc envy! I don't own a pair, but i hear they are quite comfy. I have a pair of sandles with the nubbies, and I think they might be the same thing mentioned here, but I'm not sure. Anyways, when I first put on these sandles after months of not wearing them, they will kill my feet! But eventually I get used to them and they end up being quite comfortable.
I love the baby croc pic! That was hysterical!
