While it is nice and humid here in Chicago and my p as usual is hot and red, no new spots, just the ones I have are nice and inflamed. Yuk I hate this every time the humidity climbs in the summer the p goes nuts. I am on 50mg of Enbrel a week and Taclonex , but looks like I will have to break out the Soriatane, I hate that stuff! Well thanks for letting me rant.

Yikes, Lillian! I'm sorry to hear that you're flaring -- despite being on some very heavy duty meds. I hope and pray that the flare is over quickly and that you only need to be on Soriatane for a very short period of time.

I'm in Chicago too, and the summers here are always awful for my P. Not only do my spots get red and enflamed, but I usually get new ones too. But I just started Taclonex a week ago and it seems to be working for me, so we'll see. Good luck!

Humidity is not good for my Psoriasis either. That's one reason why I moved away from that part of the country.

Sorry about your flare! I'm in the same boat as you and have received a prescription from my dermy a week ago for Taclonex that I have yet had the time to fill. I'm glad to hear it's working for some. I hope you find some relief!

hmmm...
I'm in the same area...just over the WI border and I never linked the humidity to my p before. I just usually think that I do better in the summer, with the exception of THIS summer with now 2 bouts of strep....
