New to this forum...

Hello to all from lovely and very warm Tadcaster North Yorkshire. I am an American ex-pat from Idaho and have had pppp for 23 years. I was overjoyed to find this forum....after all...I don't have to fib to anyone here and say that the reason my hands and feet look this way is because I fell into a patch of nettles. I have lived in the UK for 6 years and have yet to avail myself to any treatment either privately or through the NHS....sometimes the only Doctor I trust is Doctor Who!!! I sincerely hope that all of you have a pain and itch free day today.

Hi,welcome,,,,,,,,,,I have had pppp for 42 years and have finally found something that helps.

I have tried every meds there is with the exception of the biologics and clyclosporine. I did try Enbrel and had the worst flare of my life. I decided never to use any more p drugs (MTX, Soriatane, Prednisone, etc) because they always leave me worse. I do not do well on medicines,,,,,,,,they either don't work or make me worse. Clobetasol has been helpful but never cleared my feet.

I need to take new pictures, I am much better since the last ones were taken. I have not had any pustular eruptions in a long time. I can see the dark spots where they dry up but they have not come to the surface.

I just wanted to thank you all for your kind welcome to the board. I am going to sit down and write out a much better introduction hopefully on Monday. I hope to learn a lot from all of you and maybe be able to pass on some things I've found along the way.
By the way RichJ....it is wonderful to find another NASCAR lover....over here it is Formula One...or should I say Formula Yawn. I worshipped DW!!!

glad to meet you and nascar rules. well i think so :) i don't watch formula one any more. the same guy always seamed to win michael sur (can't spell it). dw is a great driver. i used to pull for him to win.
