I am hoping for a little advice, I have had p for 19 years now, and have recently noticed some pain. For about 2 months now my right knee will swell up and be so painful it really hurts to walk, then all of a sudden after a couple of days it will be normal again. A couple of days after that, it will be the left knee, it just goes back and forth, and they pop like crazy about 30 times a day. I noticed today the bone that sticks kinda outside of your wrist is swollen and it hurts if I touch it , and once in a while I will get sharp shooting pains in my toes. I was just curious if I should be concerned about PA or if maybe this is just something random going on. Thanks, for any advice! Stephanie

For a good diagnosis, you should see a rheumatologist. They specialize in diseases and conditions of the joints. It could be PA so you do need to see someone. Any joint that swells without injury needs to be looked at.
