tips of my fingers....

Hi everyone, I have had PP for the past 30 years and after all the creams, lotions, ointments etc and using my finger tips to put them on with I have noticed in the last year the tips of my fingers are very thin and sometimes
pain full with too much typing. WARNING to those of you that did not listen
to your DR :)....Use an applicator or put on gloves before applying.

does anyone have any suggestions on how to "toughen up" my finger tips ??

I've seen posts where they say olive oil helps the nail and nail bed of fingers to grow back...maybe soaking your finger tips regularly in olive oil may help...
