I just heard about this - it has cox 2 inhibitors and is meant for arthritis. It's made of flavanoids.

go to limbrel.com and information for pharmacists

Anyone have any experience with this drug (limbrel) yet? My doctor just called this in for me. I was speaking to the nurse and she didn't know a lot - just that it's supposed to be some kind of "wonder drug". I'm curious to see if it's helped anyone with anything other that OA. The limbrel website doesn't endorse it for any other kind of arthritis so there wasn't much info. there.

I would like to know, also.
Has anyone used this?

I know this is old but I am wondering if ANYONE has any experience with this medication?

Thanks,
Karen

I don't but since there was just a discussion on green tea, I found this excerpt interesting.
**********
Limbrel is considered a "botanical medical food." It is made from a combination of root and bark extracts from plants. The plant extracts contain a substance called flavonoids.
Some of these same flavonoids are found in medicinal Chinese green tea, used in the treatment of a variety of medical conditions for a long history

I'm going to ask my Doctor about it. I need an anti-inflammatory that won't upset my stomach. And I'm actually getting sick of cherries.. never thought I would say that.

Hi,

My PCP gave me a prescription today, it is expensive and my Blue Shield does not cover it yet, however any other pain killer is fully covered. I took a capsule 2 hours ago and I don't have any stomach or intestinal pain or bloating and I took it on an empty stomach like the directions say.

I'll let you know if I get any results or side effects.
