Virus + PA = Misery!

Wow I am finally getting over a virus that knocked me down the last few days - I remember before having PA how the flu made by body sore but I've never experienced anything like this.
Unbelievable discomfort - entire body aches plus a fever and stomach pain - its the worst.
I feel better today but what an experience.

Thanks - I'm not on the enbrel yet still have to do my paperwork.

Glad to hear your feeling better. I don't suffer from PA ( I always add yet when I say that), but I've heard other people state that it makes flu syptoms even worse!
Good luck with the enbrel, hope it turns out to be your miracle drug. In case your doctor doesn't mention it, since I've been on enbrel I always make sure to get a flu shot in the fall ( make sure you only get the dead virus shot and beaware that you can not use the nasal option).

Hope that you'll get to feeling yourself soon. PA bleeps especially when compounded by a virus.

Good luck on Enbrel, my rheumy also had me take a pneumonia shot BEFORE I started, it's suppose to be good for ten years.

I also have the flu shot yearly, dead virus so it's not contraindicated you might want to talk to your doctor about both.

Glad this virus is over for you, it stinks but you were probably so run down from all you have been dealing with... things ARE going to get better for you! Hang in there, and good luck with the Enbrel! Hope it makes a difference and brings the PA under control for you!
