Week 0 was initial evaluation, blood draw, 1st injection: PASI 18.3

Week 2 was evaluation, blood draw.

Week 4 was evaluation, blood draw, 2nd injection: PASI 15

Week 8 was evaluation, blood draw: PASI 9.8

Week 12 was evaluation, blood draw, 3rd injection: PASI 5.3!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just got back from my week 12 study appointment. My PASI has almost dropped in half again, and I haven't had an injection since week 4! Today I received my 3rd injection set, however assuming my prior 2 injection sets were drug (rather than placebo), today's injection, and the one at week 16 will both be placebo. I'll get drug injection again 12 weeks from today, and will stay on the drug from there through the duration of the study.

My area has shrunk significantly, and I have little to no flake spots anymore. My face is 100% clear, my scalp is 99.5% clear, and doc says my arms are 100% clear, but I still see discolored marks....but that's it. None of the spots I have left have any inflammation, heat, or scaling....I think the slight bumpy (flakey?) spots I feel on my back are more due to them being more susceptible to "dry skin" than anything else.

Anyway! That's where I'm at, and I'm one heck of a happy camper over! I can't wait until this is available for us all!!!!

Mel, that's great news!! :) Did you have any hair loss?

No hair loss for me (sorry, Janner!!!!), but then I was having some hairloss just from having scalp P in the first place....it was blocking my hair follicles. Now it's clear I'm having a nice raise in hair growth!

The side effect I'm getting isn't enough to think twice about, but I did report it. A few hours after drug injection, I'm getting sticky dry mouth and an odd metallic taste in my mouth....but by the time I even notice it's there, it's already fading away, and a breathmint, or eating lunch/drinking my Diet Pepsi tends to mask all that.

I had scalp psoriasis which was the worst part since it was visible(snowstorm) but also other spots-18% body-plus psoriatic arthritis(which doesn't hurt but the damage remains). No side effects though it was pretty scary to sign up for this since there are lots of warnings about side effects.Feeling well again is a blessing.

That's great! Tried to enroll in this study myself but got in touch too late and missed the boat. However, it is great to hear the drug is working for you. Continued progress!

That is such terrific news - have they given this il*** a name yet? I remember testing il11 and it had no effect on me but we only did it for a month tops 2....now they know you sometimes have to wait 4 or 5 months sometimes to see any effects.

I am so very glad for you and please please keep us updated. :p :p :p :p
