I haven't been on the boards very much lately so I am sorry if this is old news. I saw one of the drug reps at a meeting this week and he tells me that starting in Janurary for people with private insurance- not medicare or medicaid- private insurance only- in Missouri the drug company will give patients a plastic card-Looks like a credit card- that you take to the pharmacy. If your co-pay is for example $100.00 per month- you pay $75.00 and the drug co will take care of the $25.00. It assists people with copays of above $75.00/month. There is a cap on it and I can't remember the exact amount but I believe it is between $2000.00 and $3000.00. He says it is a state by state program and each state will differ. also some states will not have the program. Worth checking out as the copays are increasing. ......Trace
