I have taken Enbrel in the past with great results. My Derm had me on enbrel and I stoped taking it like a moron because my psoriasis an PA cleared. I was tired of giving my self shots. I went to see a Rhemy and he started me on Humira. I have been taking the shots weekly. I got a sinus infection and had to stop for about three weeks. My psoriasis and PA came back more severe that it has ever been. I can hardly walk and my skin is about 90% covered. I have started treatments again of the Humira for the last six weeks and my psoriasis has continued to worsen with no relief in my PA.
Today I called the Doc and told him I want to go back to the Enbrel because the Humira is not working for me.
Has anyone else had similar results?

Yep.
There are at least 10, maybe as many as 4,000 genes that affect P and PA, and each can be good or bad in different ways. The exact mix of genes you have can have a major effect on which meds work or don't work for you.
For some one is better, for others, the other is better.
It seems like asking to switch back to Enbrel would be a good idea.

I've had a somewhat similar experience. I'm on Humira after being on Enbrel for 2 years, and I too had to stop taking Humira for an upper respiratory infection. I developed psoriasis in places I'd never had it before. I'm not back on the Humira yet, so I can't really answer your question, but I am treating the new psoriasis topically with clobetasol proprionate lotion which is helping some. What helped even more was an increase in my prednisone. I'll see what happens when I get back to the Humira.
