For Christmas I got a heated mattress cover that is absoultely wonderful, I lay on it and it relieves my pain, You can find them at Walmart twins start at $22.00 and go up from there but it is worth every penny. You can even wash it in the washing machine. I thought I should ..and PJ thought I should post this for everyone to see. I hope it helps someone. It sure beats heating pads!!!!

Deb,
Thanks for the good tip.
I grab my heating pad for relief daily, it's an xtra large size ( with moist heat ) and it's helpful with my aches for sure.
I'll look for the heated mattress pad at Walmart. We have a king sized bed and I know that DH and will want different temperature control, just like he wants the remote lol......I've found that elec blankets have dual control so I'm hoping that will be the case for the mattress pad as well.

Wow, Deb. What a great gift. I'm glad that it's helping you.
Here's a link to Wal-Mart's description of it: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5019318#Features+%26+Specifi cations. The Queen and King sizes have dual controls that allow for separate heat settings on either side of the bed.

Glad I could help and thanks Mike for getting the link for us. Lets try keeping this to the top. It seems no one knows the difference between conversations and People with P and PA.
I think the boards need to be cleared up a bit.

Thanks for the info on this. I'm definitely going to look into it. I love my heating pad. This could only help with morning stiffness, certainly couldn't hurt! I may have to make a mid-week run to WM tomorrow.
Karen- who's wearing the pants in your family!!?? Two sided control or not, you slap that puppy on your bed! Also, tried to PM you and your mailbox is FULL!

Lee,
Wm is out of the mattress pad covers! I went this past weekend on my run for supplies ( they are so inexpensive for TP/PT etc!! )...so I might have to try another WM in my area, lord knows that they are on every corner!
L :) L...
My PM box is now available for incoming messages, LOL, sorry about that!

For those of you who are like me and do not live near a Wal-Mart, I just discovered that Target also sells heated matress pads. Here's a link to their description of the one that they sell: http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/sr=1-1/qid=1168804929/ref=sr_1_1/602-4371050-4301463?ie=UTF8&asin=B0002E4VYA.
(We actually just got our first Wal-Mart. I haven't been to it yet. I'm also not exactly sure where it is. I think that it's behind the Mill Creek Mall but I'm not positive. There are three Targets and three K-Marts in my area (I can actually walk to one of the Targets) so I don't think that I'll be heading to Wal-Mart any time soon.)
