Well, all, I haven't made a general post in quite long time. I hope everyone had great holidays and a wonderful New Year.
Well, it's finally winter up here in the Great White North. We've finally dipped below 30 degrees -- 12 for the high today with the windchill near 5 below. It's the fun time of year for all of us flakers.
I had my latest derm appointment yesterday and it turns out, in his opinion, I haven't been using my creams, ointments and sprays nearly enough! I thought I was using them too much, but now that he's put it in perspective, I'm back on track.
So last night I had a nice soak and then slathered it on and said "Let the flaking begin!"
I've started putting the triamcinalone on my head too (he's got it mixed with 10 percent Salc. acid, which the pharm told me if it was two percent more it would remove warts, so that's pretty strong. :) )
So I was enjoying the feeling of my plaques falling off and my scalp shedding and went to bed.
This morning I got up, showered, regular stuff and looked in the mirror-- OMG talk about flakes in my hair!!!! I couldn't get them out. Pony tail to the rescue and out the door I went.
So, I needed coffee, but I wasn't about to stop at my normal joint because they don't have a window, so I settled for a yummy McD's at the drive-thru coffee and headed down to work. Made it there and my scalp had settled more, combed my hair and headed inside.
I just love modern day conveniences!
