I have had psoirasis for about ten years. I am twenty eight and I have just ended a five year relationship. The stess of the situation has caused a nasty flare up on my face and hands. The last time I had spots on my face was about four years ago. I didnt treat it and it went away after a while. This time it is worse and the cold air in Chicago doesnt help matters. I hope its just the cold dry weather and the stess mixed together, because both of those factors will go away. I truly hope this goes away soon. I am using desowen to keep the redness down. It is very itchy. I also have p on hands, feet, elbos,in ears, and on the scalp. It is managable but a pain in the butt. I cant wait till summer.

Is there anyone with seasonal psoriasis?

I too have seasonal P-, it is worse in the winter then in the summer when I get more sun. Try to using moisterizers and take baths with dead sea salt. I had gotten one spot on my nose one winter and it went away when the weather got better. I have 2 spots at the top of my forehead, just under my hairline, which fade to almost nothing in the summer and come back in the winter time. It's very annoying. Anyhow, I'm with ya, just try to keep a positive attitude in life and surround yourself with friends and family. Focus on what really matters :)

Elocon can be a big help with an outbreak on the face. I've used it befor. I know psorisis usually gets better in the warmer months but I've never heard of seasonal p. Stress is a factor with my p also. I hope things turn around for you really soon.

Mine gets worse in the winter! Be careful tho using Elocon on your face it can cause broken capillaries.. I got some on my chin using it....

Elidel is good for the face but its expensive if you don't have insurance
