I have mild/moderate p on my scalp for 7 years and have tried various treatments without much success. I have read several posts regarding using apple cider vinegar. I have been using it as a rinse for a week. I have notice a slight decrease in the "dandruff" on my shoulders but the itching remains. My questions to those who use it are: how long before you saw any real results? how do use it, full strength or diluted?
Thanks,
Michele

I tried it and other than making me smell like a salad, nothing!

Hi,
Here's the "recipe" that has worked the best for me. First massage scalp with Campho-phenique to loosen scales. Peanut oil works too. Next, shampoo as usual and then apply the rinse using 1/4 c apple cider vinegar mixed with 3/4 c water. Leave on hair for few minutes then rinse. The following day use 1/4 c Listerine with 3/4 c water as your rinse. Listerine helps the itching. Better control is obtained by alternating these two.
After your hair is dry, massage a small amount of creamy white vaseline into the scalp. Your head will feel good and your hair will feel soft.
