OK I know this may sound like a weird question but....has anyone noticed if drinking a lot of milk (ie every day) has helped ease your pa? I have been thinking about doing this because I know whenever my lower back hurts for several days if I drink a large glass of milk the pain usually dulls quickly within a few hours of drinking it. I haven't drank enough to determine if the same is true for my pa. I would be interested if anyone has tried this.
Thanks,
Ali

Good morning,
I have been drinking milk with a breakfast drink mix ( Carnation Instant Breakfast ) for about six years. I have had p for ten years approx. and have never been diagnosed with pa. Have no pain now and don't know if it is natural to migrate from p to p & pa. I am now alternating between soymilk and milk just to see if there is any difference. I hate taking pills and have been told by several people that Glucosamine/Chondroitan works well for sore joints. Good Luck, Brad

I have had P for many years and although not officially diagnosed, I think I also have PA. After I quit drinking milk I had noticed tremendous improvement on my skin and my overall condition. I am taking no drugs or other medications and I learnt to cotrol my P through relatively strict diet. It certainly works for me.
Cheers, MikeCa

Milk is no good for my p + pa either.
Really though our reactions are all very different. Anyone with serious p should do an elimination diet. It might save you a lot of energy and grief.
In my case my p + pa cleared up very significantly after I got wicked food poisining. That got me thinking...
Haven't found any literature or expert who was any real help in my case.
