[COLOR=Plum]Hello again everyone, I have a question regarding b/c (and no, not before christ ;) ) pills, hormones and the effects on PA. Has anyone here heard/read any information regarding birth control pills and their interference with PA, if any?? As I closely watched my monthly rollercoaster of PA symptoms, I couldn't make heads or tails of it at first because it seemed to have a pattern but it didn't occur to me what it closely matched........then finally it hit me, by birth control pill cycles went pretty much hand in hand with my PA symptoms. Sooo, I have decided to go a month without it and see what happens, but this peaked my interest in the whole hormone debate in regards to PA, so if anyone has any input I would greatly appreciate it.
Another question for those that have undergone hysterectomy's while having PA......like any trauma to the body I am sure there is a risk that if a person undergoes such a surgery there will probably be a flare of symptoms after same. Now, if anyone has experienced this, I would greatly appreciate any info. because my doc just notified me that I have a fibrous tumor on my uterus that is 3 inches already and causing some discomfort. Since I am only 34 and probably have quite the wait until menopause, a hyterectomy is almost certainly in my future per the MD. Again, any input would be greatly appreciated.......have a great day everyone!! :)
