Update Mental Health ,Psoriasis and now a medical Dr. ??

I just got a letter from SSD last week now their wanting me to go to one of their medical Drs. Aug. 30th , this is the first time i'm sent to see one ,Someone told me this is a good thing their really looking into my case . Its a bitter sweet they couldn't have sent me 3 weeks ago when my p was at its peak flare ups and all and now its starting to calm down and clear up , i'm sure he wont tell me a thing , oh and by the way this Dr. is in a different state, when the letter states they'll send me to a Dr. in my state close to one in my own zip code , whats that all about ? Has anyone here whos applied for SSD disability heard where their case stands to date ,I've called on mine about 3 weeks ago and never got a return phone call .

Has anyone here whos applied for SSD disability heard where their case stands to date ,I've called on mine about 3 weeks ago and never got a return phone call .The only communication that I have received from SSD was when my case was denied and the appeal was denied. After that, I hired an attorney to handle the hearing process, and the only information that I have as to contact from SSD is the notice through my attorney that a hearing date has been set after almost a year in that process.

I went to the SSD Dr. what nice man , I really mean it , He gave me a complete exam from head to toe even a vision test , very unbias , He told me that with out a dought I will be needing long term medical care , he was very impressed that I did what he ask me to do on the exam ,he said he would mention it in his report back to SSD ,Since he sent the report in I got more paper work back to fill out from SSD , questions like what was the first thing I did in the A.M. to the last thing before I went to bed , How does pain effect me , who cooks in the house , yard work etc , I filled the form out and mailed it back to them , I should hear from this 9/ 17/ 07 week ?? I hope .
