I have a question for everyone suffering from P, PA or both.
Do any of you have issues with excessive sweating? Since I've been diagnosed I have noticed that I sweat profusely (mostly underarms) all day! It evens happens when the rest of me is ice cold. The worst part is the wetness it creates that is visible in all of my dress shirts. It's so bad that I can't even lift up my arms most days for fear that people will see it. I have tried all the over the conter antiperspirants and deodorants including the new one from Secret and nothing works!
When I mentioned my problem to my family doctor he said that it stemmed from over an overactive immune system due to my P/PA.

Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions on new products to try?

I had the very same problem and hated every minute of it. I use Certaindry about 3x per week and the problem is gone. It's otc and you can get it at any CVS, Rite-Aid, etc.

I'm so glad I've started reading this board. I do have quite a bit of underarm sweating and I never made the connection to my P and PA, but it does seem that it has become more pronounced along with with P and PA.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I have seen CertainDry on the shelf but wasn't sure if it would work being an otc. I'm going to pick some up today and give it a try.

Thanks again.
