Last year we launched the National Psoriasis Walk for Awareness which is a nationwide program designed to generate awareness about psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis and raises money for National Psoriasis Foundation education, advocacy and research programs.
We are excited to announce that we have launched the Virtual Walk for Awareness in order to allow everyone to participate regardless of where you live!
The virtual walk does not have a physical component, but allows participants to make a difference by raising awareness and setting a fund-raising goal. You can get a group of family and friends together to start a team or register as an individual. Each participant is asked to set a fund-raising goal of $100 or more.
We are giving away an all-inclusive, week-long vacation for two at the Blue Lagoon Spa in Iceland! Simply raise $500 as a participant to be entered in the post-walk drawing. If you can’t make the walk you can still enter—just register and start raising money.
To register, contribute or learn more, visit our Web site at www.psoriasis.org/walk or call Alanna Finn, Walk for Awareness coordinator at 503.546.8368 or afinn@psoriasis.org
