I was wondering if anyone uses herbs to season their food and if they are a possible P trigger. I've cut out all tomato based products and I'm struggling to find way to give the food I cook some flavor. All I use is Braggs.

Do any of you know some herbs I could use for a variety of dishes?

I think that hot spices (like red chili pepper flakes) are suppose to aggraviate P. Personally, tomatoes have never really affected my P, or beef for that matter. The things that make it worse are sugars (they are the devil!) and alcohol (if I drink too much sugary cocktails or too much period!). I do indulge in a glass of wine now and then, but try to avoid alcohol as a whole. In my eyes, as long as I feel happy and content (stress-free), my GP responds well.

I don't think I've mentioned this before, but I am a psychology graduate student (working on my Ph.D), and have recently begun to look at the effects of stress on the immune system (not my specialty in the least). I'll post summaries on what I've found and provide some easy conditioning exercises to help you relax and avoid "reflexive" unconcious responses that trigger your stress level.
