Hi! I am from the Houma area, and I see someone in New Orleans. Would that be too far for you to go? I am unfortunately not familiar with anyone in the Baton Rouge Area. If you are interested in the name and number of the one in New Orleans, please just PM me and I will forward their information to you. They have helped me out tremendously!

Can anyone recommend a good derm in the Baton Rouge area?
I just moved from Zachary Louisiana and was seeing a great derm there. Her name is Dr. Laura Harrington. She is in Zachary very near Baton Rouge.
She is wonderful!! She gives you all the time you need on your visit to talk ask questions etc. She is very open to any info you find on the internet, forums etc. I couldn't ask for anything more in a doctor.
She is very busy, but my pc doctor called and got me in sooner. When you call tell them you are in bad shape and need help asap.
I only hope I can find a new derm as good as her. She is wonderful & I just love her.
Here is a link to her website where you can find her contact info.

Thanks to all who have answered me, but it seems I won't be needing a new derm now. I've played my first round of golf last week for the first time in 8 months. It was the UV that did the trick. I am off the Soriatane, a nasty excuse of a cure for me. Will get a new derm if need be, but my fingers are crossed.
