hi i had psoriasis, for over 6 years nothing seemed to help-would clear up a bit in summer but thats it. earlier on in this year i got 2 new tattoos(i already had 1 that i got b4 i got psoriasis) they were experimental to see if tatt would just scab up and dissapear or even worse turn into psoriasis, but instead as the tatts healed( couple of weeks) my psoriasis healed up-completely, that was around May and my skin stayed clear up until recently-the psoriasis is starting to come back now but not nearly as bad as it was- im going to get another tattoo soon so i will see if it will work again- im not sure how or why it worked but it did-so if your paranoid that getting a tattoo might make your psoriasis worse- it may actually help. and the fact that the effect doesnt last doesny make it any different to the drugs being studied/prescribed at moment

Em,

Using the term "Cured" is not very accurate and just confuses the uninformed. We all know there is no cure for Psoriasis. You were simply in remission and at this point in time is all any of us can hope for. To me, using the word cure implies the disease is gone forever.

your right there is no cure but for psoriasis sufferers that are already into body art it may be an option. im curious to know if anyone else has had similar results from things not considered medical or for psoriasis . oh and thanx for the welcome-Richj
