Had been on Raptiva for 2 years, with some good results for my skin, however had combined with MTX. But did get some arthritis. Had a bad reaction when stoped Raptiva to start Remicade.

I had a very dramatic reaction to Raptiva during its premarketing drug studies. I developed severe psoriatic arthrits in about week 8. I was sick from the beginnng with flu-like symptoms...I was so sick I could not function and ended up in a nursing home for 10 months....I was 36 years old...I have not been back to work since....The study doctors tols me that some people developed severe joint pain during treatment, but that my situation was rare....It did at first clear my skinn signficantly, but what happened to me after I stopped was unbelievable...I looked like that guy in the movie, The Singing Detective.....

Hi! KellyPSA, So sorry that happened to you. I have been on it for a couple weeks now. Im feeling okay. I have PA already. I have had the sniffles since starting. My skin looks about the same. I guess time will tell. I hope your doing better now. Im hoping for the best .Take Care.
