Hey yall I am due my shot of Humira today it will be my second. I woke this a.m. ears are kind a full and I did a bit of coughing. Question, should I wait until tomorrow and see if I am sick or not? Should I do the shot and hope I'm not?

If you start producing any phlgem...call your doc immediately. If by tomorrow you feel better, no cough no phgelm...I would give it a go. Could just be allergies with the weather change. You do live in a warmer part of the world ( :( )

Also, be sure to check to see if your running a temp. But always when in doubt, WAIT.

Thanks Elaine. I did have a bit of plegm this morning and as of now just a tcikle in my throat. The weather has been goofy. I worried cause after cough drops I still am a bit hacky. If I am sick I will blame it on the twitt at the docs office. Everyone there was sick and coughing. I already get sick easily on the sulfasalazine and methotrexate. You guys have all been a God send for me. You are a gem. Tell ma Howdy. love you lots

My rheumy said that since I usually take my shot on day 14, anything between 12-16 is considered "on schedule". I was gonna take mine on Monday, but I caught a cold, so he said I could put it off until the weekend. So far I have not noticed any negative reaction to putting off my shot. Speak to your doc, I would say. Perhaps by tomorrow you will have a sense of whether or not you are getting sick.

I know it's too late, but next time call the doctor's office or arrive and tell them what's going on. They WILL NOT give you a shot if it's dangerous because of lawsuits.

I did the shot on Friday. Did not feel as bad. Went for MRI on knees. All is okay and hey I did not freak out thisb time.

There is an easier way at least for me. They give me happy pills and I dont even care that I am in a ittle tube with no room to wiggle.

I too, freak out in those stupid tubes. I did not get any happy pills because i went in feet first and only half way up. Still felt like I would freak out but I thought about my kids and hubby and the corny things they all do. Two hours later I am freezing in that stupid room. They gave me 3 warm blankies and I was so tired I woke myself up by snoring (petite snores too) lol

Elaine you just kell me! Being from Florida we had the U.N. there as far as people. My best friend was from the Bronx. She passed about 12 years ago from lung cancer and one of my brothers-in-law is from Long Island. He is so funny. All of my family back home says Re you sure do have a southern twang. That very sound is what one my heart cause my hubby is from Nashville. Gotta go doll face. Hope all is well.

Ahhhhhhhhhh, one time I had valium and you could have launched me out into space I could have cared less where I was....till it wore off..

the second and third time the happy pills did nothing, especially for my C-spine they gave me attivan or something that starts with the letter A and strapped my head down...NEVER AGAIN!..

I believe I am going for a bone scan and I'm hoping its NOT in a tube, then for a bone density scan which I have had before and it's nothing at all...I hope that they are somewhat similar although I know they show different things. Never had a bone scan...can anyone tell me what that is like?

Karen tell them next time to give you some versaid(sp) It is soooo fine. gotta go the pc is pissing me off will be back when I get it fixed
