Hey yall I want to know if anyone is taking sulfasalazine, methotrexate and humira and still taking prednisone? I seem to be having a bad flare and thought I could just take some steroid for a few days. I'm kind of brain dead today (everyday) so any info would be great

YOU COULD TAKE WHAT THEY CALL A medrol DOSE PAK. IT WILL JUMP START YOUR MEDS, BUT ONLY YOUR DOC CAN DECIDE ON IT.

I talke Humira and MXT. In the summer all I took was MXT and had my son's party (big engagement party) to get ready for. I called and they gave me a dose pak. Before you know...I was trimmin my neighbors shrubs...(LITERALLY).

Hey girly I already have the steroid because the old rheumy had me on a daily dose of 5mg. I stopped taking it cause it was getting my stomach in a bad mood. I just didn't know if I could take with the Humira. What the heck though, The knee doc wanted to shoot up my knees but the last time I had injections (april) didn't do much for me. I might have to reconsider the shots if I cannot get those benders (the rest of the joints too)under control. I just now got on and I am too tired to do anything else. Talk to you later love.
