Saw my new Rhumey today. She seemed very good and immediately changed be back to 2x weekly Enbrel injections. The first one I saw took me down to one, even though my Derm did not like it. She gave me a script for Mobic, once daily 15mg.

Just wondering if anyone else had ever taken this NSAID and what you think of it.

Prayers,
Tilldee

PS: Tomorrow is the big game for us: Ohio St -vs- Michigan. GO BUCKS!!!!

Tilldee..

I found NSAIDs to be very helpful, I wish I could take them!. I've never taken Mobic, I hope it doesnt upset your tummy, if it does you might want to ask for prilosec or prevacid.

Feel better. and yes GO BUCKS! :)

I've been on mobic for a while now (year or more I think). I get the rx from pain mgmt (7.5mg 2x daily). I have had no trouble tolerating it and it helps w/ the swelling and minor joint pain. It's hard to tell which med is doing what tho; 13 different meds and all the interactions. I hope it does well for you too.

Thanks for all the feedback. Yes, I hope it does something for all this pain too. I am already on Prevacid 1 daily or 2 if needed. (I call it my wonder drug).

I can't imagine being on 13 different meds at one time. I'm on 6 and that is about 5 too many. lol.

Prayers,
Tilldee

Tildee I hope it works for you. It was like sugar just without the sweet. I am on 12 meds and then every six weeks I get a hormone shot so I don't get nasty. Hope all is well with you honey bun. Yall are the best advice givers. My new family. YEAH!

Well it's hard to tell if the Mobic is doing the job or upping my Enbrel to 2 50's a week. But I have to say, my pain level has been great during the day. It will still wake me up around 4:30 and sometimes with a pain level of 10. Must be from laying in one spot too long? I am still fatigued and when I get back to the Dr this Friday I'll be asking for a B-12 shot. Was going to get one last Monday, but we got to talking and I forgot to ask about it. Oh and he put me on Bentyl to calm my colin. He thougth it was probably the Mobic doing it, and so far it has worked.

Love & Prayers,
Tilldee

You can get B-12 shots? Does getting it in a shot help w/ the stomach issues? I had to stop taking it because it would upset my stomach and give me major heartburn.
