Most days, I feel like I can stay a step or two ahead of this disease. But today I'm so tired - that deep within me tired - that I don't even feel like I can stand up without tipping over. Meanwhile my 2 1/2 year old wants to run around outside and my husband is out of town. So I'm having a pity party. Can anyone get me out of this funk?

Hi jpr,

Do you have any family or friends nearby that can take your baby out for a little bit? a babysitter? A mommies helper? If not, Perhaps bring a folding chair out in the yard and let your child run around and get some energy out?

After you could snuggle up on the couch and watch a video...

Fatigue ugh, part and parcal.

Hope you feel better soon..

I am soo sorry that you are feeling that dear heart. We have all been there. Some of us are there as we type cause we are too tired for much else. The folding chair sounds good. If the weather is nice tell her that she can play while you watch. Ask a neighbor if you are close to any if they could help. You could just put a blanket over the dining room table pull the chairs out and let her have a castle. That is what I did with my younguns. They loved it. They said it was a private cave. Try getting her to pretend she is something. I used to write down the names of animals and let them pretend they were each one and that way I could just rest and give them a different name every 15 minutes or as needed. I will be thinking of you dear heart, and praying for you as well

Pop it in and sit him down. At 2 1/2 Im sure he can wait till another day to play outside eh?

My children are pretty much grown (27,23&15), BUT I babysit with my 3 yr old nephew, and boy...I go directly into a flare as soon as my body goes into "letdown". I can completely identify. When Im down there with him and no one else can help I put his "Thomas the train video or CARS video in". Works like a gem everytime!!!

Then he gets so tired he takes a nap. Works for me!

Well I didn't get my nap today and I'm still up. Just can't seem to get my mind to believe I'm sleepy.

Ok here's the plan,,,,,,,,,,

1) Call a babysitter ASAP and ask them to poop the kid out

2) Fill the tub with hot water and bubble bath

3) Put on your FAVORITE music

4) and R.E.L.A.X. ahhhhhhhhhh deep breath,,,,,,,,,,,ahhhhhhhh

Finish up with a HOT FUDGE SUNDAE,,,,,,,,,,,yummy

Works for me!
