We live west of you guys and I just hate it when we get a storm from the East. You can bet it's gonna be a wild one. Not that I wish snow on you, but you can keep it, if you know what I mean.

Good old snow, NOT!!!! I totally feel for ya :( I live in Western Michigan near Lake Michigan. Lake effect kicks in like ya wouldnt believe and for the past 4 years we have had a least one blizzard warning. It aint nothing to people around here to have 12 inches of snow and they just keep on going and going. We average at least 80 inches a season. My poor bones just cant take it. It looks pretty though (at first and then it's like go away already).

I say we fly south for the winter!! Anyone snowbirds with me?

I'm right behind ya'll. I've only been to Fl once back in the early 80's so I'm sure things have changed there a bit. We have friends who have relocated to Naples for their retirement. They would love it if we bought a place down there, but I just couldn't leave my grandbabies.

Yes...we definately did. IT IS ONLY 4:25 IN THE a.m....PAIN made me wake, and thank God I did. We got 10 inches of snow and it's so wet we had a power failure! My husband was late waking up and all he could say was "Thank God" for your disease today I would have been so late!( )

WE STILL HAVE A HEAVY SNOW WARNING IN EFFECT TILL 10 A.M.!!!!!! Thing is....it's more only in these mountains! Everywhere else around us got about an inch or so, or even just rain. We got Hammered!!!!!! I wish you could see how bent over my 25 foot Spruce trees are! My barbecue (not covered yet) has ten inches of snow on it!

My tree's are bending...the snow is so heavy AIN'T NOTHIN movin. So where did this come from? nothing was in our forecast on Friday.

Lake effect snow...your right, it get's us everytime!!!!!!!

Im with you...and I am going south lol (Dec 6). My MIL tells me that the weather in Houston has been fluctuating between 60-80's everyday. Yes...Im with ya...for at least 16 days...till I come back home to this yuck! :(

An inch Rich????? I woke up to ten lol! Your right though...no driving in it. In fact all over the TV last night were warnings for the Poconos..."if you absolutely must drive in the Pocono Mountains be very cautious, road conditions are hazardous". Not me...I ain't goin anywhere but the chair. Even the Hot tub would be a commute for me :)

HERE'S THE LATEST ACCU WEATHER ALERT I GOT:

AN ADDITIONAL INCH OR TWO OF SNOW IS EXPECTED THIS MORNING, BRINGING
THE SNOWFALL TOTALS TO 5 TO 10 INCHES IN THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS, AND
2 TO 5 INCHES IN THE VALLEYS.

TEMPERATURES WERE AT OR BELOW FREEZING THROUGHOUT THE POCONO REGION
EARLY THIS MORNING. MANY UNTREATED ROADS AND WALKWAYS HAVE BECOME
COVERED WITH SNOW AND ICE.

IF YOU WILL BE TRAVELING THIS MORNING, BE PREPARED FOR LESS THAN
IDEAL DRIVING CONDITIONS. BE SURE TO DRIVE AT A REASONABLE SPEED
AND LEAVE PLENTY OF ROOM BETWEEN YOUR VEHICLE AND THE ONE AHEAD OF
YOU.

Guess your in the 'Valley"? Have a good day my friend! Stay warm and dry!

PS: Bring the computer up to me before Wednesday. My son will be here for Thanksgiving and Black Friday, he will fix it for ya for free. (Computer network engineer who almost always goes into withdrawal when he's not fixing a computer lol)

No snow here. Weather reports say that it will stay south of here. Sorry guys. I remember when I was growing up, we used to be knee-deep in snow by this time of year. It has been several years since we've had a lot of snow in November. I'm not complaining. The longer we go without snow, the happier I am. I really don't like driving in the stuff.

How was your day off? Great snow day for you!

Well, disregard anything I posted previously about the pressure being up because since I woke up at 6pm it's been down! Cold cold and more cold. We are expected to get another inch or two tonight. Ice is forming.

I fell apart today-crashed and burned! I never even left this house---never went out in it!!!! Since I woke at 4 am, I took a nap at 11:30 and didn't wake until 6pm! When I did get up it was in loads of pain! I can't walk, Im in the chair dependent upon Megan to get me anythng I need. Eric's working and has to stay in Jersey tonight, Mike and Leesha are snowed in at a freinds house (even with the truck I don't want him out driving in the ice)

I hate complaining(Im sorry) but I also hate living this way...I was fine this morning. It amazes me that I have to live my life around the weather! I can't even lift my left arm...too much pain, I want to cry!!!. Pain meds are only working somewhat. I do know it will feel better as soon as the pressure goes back up, and the humidity drops!

So what's the moral to MY STORY...the weather is pretty but sucks. Now Im ready for it all to melt. HUMIDITY...go away, PRESSURE.... go back up!!! I TRULY CANNOT TAKE THIS! Feels like someone has a vice grip on my body. I am buried under the covers though which does help.
