Psoriatic Arthritis and Muscle Loss

Question. In August I wrote in about my newly diagnosed Psoriatic Arthritic father. Well, now I'm confused. My father has lost about 20 pounds in six months and has not muscle mass left on his body. He is to the point where my big daddy cannot even lift a 6-pack of coke. The Rheum told him that it was because he has accelerated PA. In my research, I have not found anything on PA and muscle loss. Any info for me? Thanks ahead of time.

Your father may want to get a second opinion. If a person experiences severe weight loss then he or she might want to be looked over by an internist.
