Hello

My 5yr old daughter has just been diagnosed with psoriasis - I didn't even know how to spell it, so step 1 is familiarization, which I'm doing on this web site!

My first task is to get underclothes for her that do not irritate her lesions - the lesions are worst at the top of her leg and the doctor says that the normal underclothes, which are elasticated around the leg, are irritating these lesions. So, I'm trying to find boxer-shorts for girls - or something similar!

Can anyone help? I am based in Ireland, so Ireland/UK would be best but if I could purchase over the web that would do fine also.

Thanks

Edel

Hi Edel,

I understand yor concerns completely! Look for anything that is made with 100 per cent cotton. That is your best choice, not matter where it might come from.

Look at your laundry detergent, it may be adding an irritant.

Post again, or email me with any further questions.

Regards,

Edel,
Hello! My name is Kimberly... I'm only 12 and I know I shouldnt be on this part of the website... anyways...

The one thing that worked for me... was underwear from "THE BAY"... I'm really not sure if it comes in kids' sizes... no clue... anyways... they're like the bottoms of those new swimsuits... not quite boxers, not quite underwear... I dunno... also... another thing is... for when they're older... it doesn't matter... wear guys boxers... I do:D
